Miguel was very friendly and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He gave us very helpful advice for restaurants and surfing and was always contactable. The apartment was cosy and had all the kitchen equipment that we needed. It was very clean and only a 10 minutes walk away from the beach. We spent a great week. Miguel was very helpful to us and the house was as described. The best is the area where the house is located, very quiet and secluded, but opposite the beach and 10 minutes drive from the surrounding villages. Our host Joana was very helpful and everything went well. The house is as described. However the road to the house is a dirt road with lots of potholes and (wild?) dogs. Therefore it takes a bit more time to go to/from the house. The house is only surrounded by a couple of similar houses and nothing else nearby. Beautiful House, clean, everything you need is in the house! You can live like a real local there, between fields with horses and cows! In the night you can watch the stars very well, because there aren’t many lights in the neighborhood. Also you can sleep very well, it’s quiet. I recommend a car, so you can make some trips to other near cities. To the beach you need to walk 20minutes or go by car. The beach is perfect for surfing and having fun in the waves. Very nice house for a quiet stay in El Palmar. The house is located on a very quiet part of the town, although a bit far from the beach (15/20 mins walk).
